Born on the outskirts of a Latin American metropolis, Juan Manuel forges his melodies at the crossroads of his rural roots and his academic vocal technique.

A self-taught guitarist, he perpetuates the rhythms inherited from his native neighbourhood and works on South American folk structures. His repertoire, a cartography of the forgotten, unfolds sonic geographies from the Río de la Plata to the Andes, resurrecting buried stories and immemorial struggles.
