The best local vintages and tastiest recipes are sure to set your mouth watering! Sancerre, Vouvray, Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur, Savennières or Muscadet wines can all be tasted in one of the 400 tourist wine cellars situated along the itinerary. Loire Valley wines also go down a treat with local culinary specialities such as fish from the Loire with white butter sauce, rillons, rillettes, Crottin de Chavignol, Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine or Tarte Tatin… not forgetting all the seasonal fruit and vegetables! You will be spoilt for choice by the diversity of flavours and smells!
