From 8 June to 29 September 2019, take your bike onboard specially equipped trains to travel to your stage of La Loire à Vélo
In summer, the Loire Valley and SNCF Mobilités are providing the Train Vélo Loire rail service for loading bikes in specially designated coaches on the Interloire train line (Orléans – Nantes – Le Croisic).
How it works:
Train Vélo Loire is a unique service that takes care of the loading, stowing and unloading of your bike by dedicated staff in specially designated coaches, designed to hold between 33 and 83 bikes according to the period.
All bikes no larger than a tandem are accepted, subject to space available.
Cyclists are responsible for their luggage (panniers and other bags), which must be removed from the bike during the train journey.
You can safely board with your bike on Interloire trains with a standard rail ticket.
This service, which is free of charge and requires no booking, is available from 8 June to 29 September 2019. From 9 to 29 September, the Train Vélo Loire will be self-service with no personnel for loading and unloading bikes.
The service is available on the Interloire line between Orléans and Saint-Nazaire and up to Le Croisic on some stops.
There are three return Interloire services running daily during the week and two at the weekend
