Little Jeannot grew up in a family that mended, reworked and repaired. Then he grew up and was called Monsieur Jean. He is an ordinary man. When he's hungry, he opens his fridge and randomly picks out food that hasn't gone out of date. At the supermarket, he buys without thinking, without a shopping list, by following the promotions. He loves the pretty packaging that promises him the best, and just as well, he works in a factory that produces them. But one day Monsieur Jean meets Mademoiselle Jeanne and his whole life is turned upside down.
