Alexandre, an ageing and disillusioned writer, lives reclusively in his Paris flat. One day, when he is on the verge of suicide, a young woman, Madison, bursts into his home on the pretext of looking for her missing cat. Her unexpected presence disrupts his daily life and rekindles the ghosts of the past.

As they talk, Madison gradually reveals the real reason for her visit. Between surprising revelations, buried memories and unexpected hopes, this encounter will force Alexandre to confront his past.
