La Drain'Guette, based at the Notre-Dame-du-Marillais water sports centre, is diversifying its events and opening up to the performing arts. This shady site, well known to users of the Loire à Vélo and walkers, is becoming a warm stage for improvisational theatre, circus and magic. With 24 shows programmed and 17 French troupes coming, including artists from Paris and all over France, the guinguette is establishing itself as a great spot for improvisation in the West, always open to free participation.
For this event, the Nantes-based troupe "La Loutre" will be taking over the waterside from 6pm to 7pm. The actors will be taking up the challenge of creating instant stories in front of the audience. Meanwhile, the usual range of local drinks and appetisers will be available, and the "kids' park" will be welcoming the youngest visitors to play with the tractors and installations in a relaxed atmosphere.
From 6pm, the atmosphere will be enhanced by the presence of the "Tonton Pâte" foodtruck, serving panozzos. It's the ideal way to combine the conviviality of an open-air meal with the discovery of a live show in the heart of the Mauges region.
