The Moulin de l’Epinay in La Chapelle-Saint-Florent between Angers and Nantes reveals all its secrets. This windmill has stood the test of time, adapting to all the technological advances made to mills. Today, it is still producing flour thanks to the passionate volunteers of the association Un village un moulin.
Discover how human ingenuity and the power of nature come together to grind wheat and make wheat and buckwheat flour in the audiovisual and museographic areas. Allow around 1? hours for the visit, and you can also take advantage of the outside area and its view over the Loire Valley, ideal for a picnic.
There are workshops all year round for children and families, to make bread and other tasty preparations using the famous flour.
Please book your visit in advance by contacting the Moulin.
Group visits are available all year round by appointment.
