It’s the fun, colourful race to mark the start of the new school year – join us for a run and a great time in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

> EVERY RUNNER IS ASKED TO WEAR A WHITE T-SHIRT. PROTECTIVE GLASSES WILL BE PROVIDED.

THIS EVENT OFFERS 3 DIFFERENT ROUTES:

– 1 ADULT RACE: a 6.5 km marked route, winding along the banks of the Loire and through the town centre. Start at 6.00 pm. (200 places)

– 2 CHILDREN’S ROUTES: for 3 to 6-year-olds, a 400-metre route; for 7 to 12-year-olds, a 1 km route. Starts from 5.00 pm. Parental consent must be provided at the time of registration. (100 places)

No timed rankings will be provided during the event.

PRACTICAL DETAILS – RACES:

Location of the event village and meeting point: the event village will be situated at Place des Services, in the town’s new community space on Rue de l’Espérance, near the ‘Joachim du Bellay’ school and the railway line, in Montrelais (44 370). A car park will be available nearby.

Collecting race numbers: race numbers can be collected on site on the day of the event, within the village, from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Refreshments: refreshments will be available at the finish line for runners (adults and children).

DETAILS ABOUT THE VILLAGE AND THE EVENT:

Food and drink: food will be provided by food trucks, and drinks will be available to runners and the general public within the village.

Pre-race and during-race entertainment within the village, led by an event host.

A cheerful mood and festive atmosphere are a must to celebrate the start of the new school year in style!!
