Louise Joffre has two professions: she is a textile artist and a dancer. As an artist, she has also been a performer, improviser and facilitator of improvisational dance in Ancenis since 2022.
Since 2013, she has been using a photographic technique to capture the vegetation along the banks of the Loire to create her works. Her passion for oil painting led her to take up digital art, and she also creates prints on thick velvet to produce unique tapestries (wall hangings, kakemono) that are functional, aesthetic and poetic.
Her wall hangings are stored at her home in Oudon (by appointment) and her pieces of furniture are kept in the studio of her colleague and collaborator Valérie Pasquier of La Souris Créative, in Thouaré-sur-Loire.
