Located just a stone’s throw from the Basilica of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire, the Belvédère is a new cultural and tourist facility dedicated to the history of Fleury Abbey, founded in the 7th century on the banks of the Loire. Through an interactive exhibition, discover the major stages in the development of the abbey, a major intellectual center in the medieval West, and decipher the architecture of its abbey church, a masterpiece of Romanesque art. All year round, the Belvedere?s mediators welcome young and old to a wide range of events.
