La fête du vélo à Saint-Florent-le-Vieil

The Fête du Vélo was launched in 1996. Every year in June, activities are organised to celebrate cycling. All over France!

To mark the occasion, stopover villages and a host of events are set up along the 116 kilometres of the Loire à Vélo itinerary that cross our region. In our area, the towns of Montjean-sur-Loire and Saint-Florent-le-Vieil are the beating hearts of this day dedicated to soft mobility.

For this special day, Saint-Florent-le-Vieil will be transformed into a real place of cycling conviviality. The quayside will come alive with a host of events, including talks, games, meetings with local craftspeople and concerts to punctuate your ride. Whether you're at the start or just passing through, there are safe cycle loops so you can pedal with peace of mind while taking in the sights along the river.
