On your first day, set off to explore the Abbey of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil and follow this with a guided tour of the Maison Julien Gracq. Have lunch at the Hostellerie de la Gabelle and set off on a guided cruise with Loire en Bateau on the ‘royal river’.
On the second day, head to Montjean-sur-Loire to explore the remains of the lime kilns. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Auberge de la Loire. Then head to Cap Loire, a discovery park dedicated to the Loire’s maritime history.
