The kayak is a fast, manoeuvrable craft, making accessible passages that are more or less impassable for a boat: rough seas, for example. Watertight compartments make them unsinkable. Sea kayaks have a tapering bow for good cruising speed and a rather high bow (the front) to avoid getting stuck in the waves. Each point is fitted with a towing ring.
Equipment: sea kayak with skirt, sit-on-top kayak, single kayak, two-seater.
What to bring
- lifejacket (approved)
- Synthetic clothing (polyester, polypropylene) or wool. No cotton!
- windbreaker (weather permitting), neoprene wetsuit hire on site
- sunglasses (attach them!)
- sun cream and ... a change of clothes!
