Organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture, the 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days will take place this year on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, with two themes taking centre stage: ‘Photographic Heritage’ and ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’.

Bring the mill to life! Come and breathe new life into our history: without you, it comes to a standstill.

As part of the ‘Heritage at Risk’ theme, come and enjoy an authentic, immersive experience at the heart of our local history. Much more than just a visit, we invite you on a sensory and human journey to discover the secrets of our mill.

Here, the mill turns, produces flour and passes on centuries-old expertise.

On the programme for your immersive experience:
Awakening the senses: Feel different types of grain, discover the miller’s techniques for starting up the mill and grinding the grain.

Sharing the history: Delve into the history of the site through poignant accounts, period photographs and a behind-the-scenes look at its restoration.

A human adventure: Meet the passionate members of the association who work tirelessly every day to preserve this site, and discover how you, too, can play a part in its preservation (through volunteering or donations).

Practical information:
Guided group tours lasting approximately 45 minutes.
