Painting Day brings professional and amateur artists together by the water. For this year's event in Montjean-sur-Loire, guest of honour Myriam Rougemaille and the participants will be setting up in the open air to create between the Loire and Layon rivers.
Course of the day:
- From 7am: Painters register on site (€12) or before 20 May (€10). The public is invited to wander around and watch the artists in action.
- Entertainment: Creative stalls open to all and presentations by the Scouts et Guides de France (Marcel Callo group) and the association Ensemble contre la SLA. Musical entertainment will be provided by Les Pieds Musclés.
- 12pm: Lunch available on site.
- 2pm: Exhibition with presentation of works created during the morning.
- 4pm: Public sale of works by Chauviré-Courant.
Profits will be donated to the Marcel Callo Group and the association Ensemble contre la SLA (Together against ALS) to support the fight against Charcot's disease.
