Journée ânes et castors – Centre Social Val’Mauges

The Val'Mauges Community Centre is organising a day of outdoor activities open to all, as part of the departmental programme ‘Rendez-vous Nature en Anjou’.

The morning’s programme begins with an encounter with the donkeys from the Médiliane association. Participants will get to know the donkeys, learn how to brush and look after them, before setting off with them on a walk along the banks of the Loire.

The afternoon features the ‘Beaver Rally’, a treasure hunt organised by the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds). This fun trail invites participants to spot signs of the Eurasian beaver’s presence, such as gnawed logs or stripped and felled trees, to learn about its way of life and its settlement in Maine-et-Loire.
