A circuit of 3.1 km of signposted footpaths has been laid out across the island. It allows visitors to rediscover the hedged landscape of the Loire islands. Information panels on the site describe the island’s remarkable flora and fauna. There are picnic tables and a play area for you to relax after or during your walk on this former island! Take advantage of the banks of the Loire to observe the birds that live there. Depending on the season, you may come across great tits, robins, black-headed gulls, great cormorants and grey herons. At sunset, the island offers a lovely view of the Loire and the Ancenis suspension bridge. Fun trail for children aged 6 to 12. Orienteering course (between 1h30 and 3h). Please note that the course is subject to flooding. Flat route, accessible to people with reduced mobility and pushchairs.
