What if you were to become a juror in a trial unlike any other? The Collectif Détour 21 offers a humorous and daring reimagining of Molière’s famous play, *The School for Wives*, in an original production that blends theatre, comedy and audience participation.
On stage, an unexpected playground: a football, a referee’s chair and a face-to-face confrontation between Arnolphe and Agnès. The audience are invited to take part in the debate and listen to Agnès’s voice in this open-air trial, which is at once funny, modern and accessible to all.
Combining satire, reflection and bursts of laughter, this show – suitable for all ages – offers a contemporary take on a major work of French theatre, in a friendly, summery atmosphere.
