Discover this charming holiday cottage in Gennes Val de Loire, a true haven of peace for four people, ideal for a relaxing getaway just 5 km from the banks of the Loire. Nestled in a natural setting, this holiday cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms, a sauna, an outdoor area with both private and shared spaces, and children’s play equipment – perfect for enjoying the great outdoors.

This tuffeau stone farmhouse, typical of the region, features:
- A living room with dining area and a fully equipped kitchen: ceramic hob, freestanding oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle, washing machine, etc.
- Lounge with television and sofa bed (can accommodate one extra person).
- Shower room on the ground floor with shower, standard toilet and sauna (available free of charge for total relaxation)
- Upstairs: 2 bright attic bedrooms, each with two 90×190 beds (which can be arranged as a double bed). Each bedroom is equipped with a fan from the start of the hot season until autumn. Each has its own bathroom (one with a shower, the other with a bath) with a dry toilet and washbasin.

For your comfort, everything is provided: towels, cleaning services and the beds are made on your arrival!

Situated between Saumur and Angers, this is a strategic location for visiting the châteaux, vineyards and banks of the Loire; you can also set off by bike to explore routes such as the ‘Loire à Vélo’ and the ‘Vélo Francette’. Close to the villages along the banks of the Loire: Saumur is 22 km away, Doué-la-Fontaine and its Bioparc are 25 km away, and Angers and Terra Botanica are 40 km away

A shaded, flower-filled garden with garden furniture, a barbecue and children’s play equipment (trampoline in spring and summer, swing and playhouse, etc.). Fishing is available in the Authion river next to the gîte.

Parking for 3 vehicles – Bakery 5 km away – Accueil Vélo scheme – Baby equipment available on request (cot, changing table, potty, safety gate, etc.)

Eco-friendly initiatives: dry toilets upstairs, LPO bird sanctuary, eco-labelled or organic products, organic paints and lime plaster…

An à la carte breakfast – continental or vegetarian – can be served every morning (€7 per person), or dinner (€23 per person) is available upon prior booking.
