The EuroAstro festival is back to celebrate its 10th anniversary!
This is an annual gathering of amateur astronomers, initiated by Pierre Bourge, a pioneer in popularising amateur astronomy, with the general public welcome. There will be events, a travelling planetarium, lectures and conferences throughout the weekend.
Around thirty amateur astronomers will be present.
During the day, it will be possible to observe the sun with suitable equipment, and at night, amateur astronomers will be delighted to share their passion and their telescopes for contemplating deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and clusters.
There will be a special focus on the Eclipse of 12 August 2026.
The Alpha-Lyrae Astronomy Club is an association dedicated to introducing people to astronomy in Orée d'Anjou and the Pays d'Ancenis. It is open to anyone interested in the sky and space, and in learning about and observing the wonders of our universe.
Admission is free.
