To mark the bicentennial of the world’s first permanent photograph, taken by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1826, this exhibition pays tribute to him as well as to the artisans, shopkeepers, and workers who make Amboise such a wonderful city.
Explore the city center and visit freely the participating businesses to discover these black-and-white portraits in the workspaces of the people photographed.
