Manon has been creating and exhibiting her "textile mosaic" paintings for 20 years.
This technique, which she created, involves gluing and sewing small pieces of fabric and other materials (jewellery, hair, bark, trimmings, etc.) and then edging them in gold or silver, giving them a mosaic look that evokes the colours and textures of the Slavic, Byzantine and Oriental worlds.
Her work reflects a search for harmony between materials and colours, nourished by her childhood memories and her attachment to a world that is both rich and delicate.
