MELANIE ABELLAN
Inspired by the fourteen years she spent in Shanghai, Mélanie Abellan composes her canvases from monotypes created in Indian ink and enhanced with acrylic paint. She sometimes adds embroidered threads to finish her work, a legacy of her training in textile art. Between bodies and landscapes, her work questions the relationship we form with our natural environment and the imprint we leave on it.
The artist will be present on Sunday afternoons, 17 May and 7 June.
CHRISTINE BOUCARD LE PAGE
From an early age, photography has been a vast and free field of exploration for the artist, in nature or in cities, giving shape to a series of freeze-frames, windows onto a visible and invisible world where her questions and her wonderings are reflected. From black and white to colour, with a sense of the ephemeral, the photographer's approach is poetic, inviting viewers to stop and reflect.
The artist will be present on: Sundays 31 May and 7 June
To note:Fermé les lundis en mai (sauf 25mai). Ouvert tous les jours en juin. Fermeture entre 13h et 14h.
