If we know how Harry met Sally, why Rosalie loved César and how the story of Romeo and Juliet ended, we still have many love stories to tell and ways of loving each other to invent.

Et ils vécurent heureux (And they lived happily ever after) retraces the meeting, the day-to-day life and the future of six couples, drawing on references from the films and novels that gave us our first glimpses of love, our own family heritage and our own personal experiences, all of which the audience will inevitably be able to relate to.

An invigorating, whimsical and moving show, a veritable hymn to love, performed by the Festival du Paon team.

The Festival du Paon is a summer event of theatrical creation in situ around the town of Banon, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. It brings together a group of young creators from the worlds of theatre, music and film, who get together every year for a month to put on a festival of original, original and special creations, in venues not dedicated to live performance. Et ils vécurent heureux (And they lived happily ever after) was conceived by Margaux Grilleau for the 12 actors taking part in the 8th edition of the festival in 2023, who then collectively took over the writing.
