DOMAINE PHILIPPE CHEVARIN

In 2015, Philippe Chevarin embarked on a second career: after working as a musician and sound engineer for Dominique A. and Vanessa Paradis, he found himself in the divine idyll of wine! The revelation came when he met Thierry Puzelat, and above all with his bottle of Buisson Pouilleux, in which he rediscovered the fragrance and taste of the juice flowing from the press… a big slap in the face! After training in viticulture and natural winemaking with Jacques Carroget from Domaine de la Paonnerie in Muscadet, he settled in Oudon, in the Côteaux d’Ancenis. Philippe cultivates five hectares of Melon de Bourgogne, Gamay and Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon. His work is increasingly precise, and the vintages produced by this young winemaker, who works closely with Jacques Février, are a real success. The wines are fluid and easy to digest, frank, honest, cheerful and very friendly, just like the winemaker himself! Grape varieties: Melon de Bourgogne, Gamay, Gamay Magny, Grolleau Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon.
