Domaine du Pélican, located in Montjean-sur-Loire just a few kilometres from the Loire à Vélo cycle route between Angers and Nantes, has been a family business for 4 generations.
It was founded in 1946 by Louis Branchereau and his mother Marie Branchereau. More than 70 years later, the estate has grown from 1.5 to 32 hectares of vines, and retains the same desire to innovate while maintaining the authenticity of its beginnings. Mindful of its environmental impact, the vineyard has been practising sustainable viticulture for many years and is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants (independent winegrowers) association, which guarantees the quality of its wines while respecting nature and the soil.
