The Kazykin Duo, comprising Slava Kazykin (vocals, clarinet, saxophone) and Ludmila Zaitseva (piano), takes the audience on a musical journey to the heart of Eastern European traditions. With a repertoire ranging from Russian songs and klezmer melodies to Gypsy dances, Romanian horas and Hungarian czardas, the two artists deliver a vibrant performance blending virtuosity, emotion and authenticity. Heirs to a rich musical culture born in Kiev and trained at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, they introduce audiences to the full diversity and beauty of Slavic and Eastern European music.
For over 20 years, the Art et Chapelles association has organised a contemporary art tour every summer, taking place in chapels across Maine-et-Loire. The aim is to breathe new life into religious heritage by combining it with contemporary art. This year, the tour took place from 27 June to 23 August 2026 in Orée d’Anjou, south of Nantes and Ancenis. It took place in the towns of Drain, Liré, Bouzillé, Saint-Laurent-des-Autels and Saint-Remy-en-Mauges.
