On Friday, August 21, Lasse Hallström’s film *Chocolat* will be shown at the Etang de Maurux in Saché.

SYNOPSIS: During the winter of 1959, Vianne Rocher moves with her young daughter, Anouk, to Lansquenet, a small French village. Within a few days, she opens a candy shop near the church. She is an unparalleled chocolatier: she senses each person’s hidden sweet tooth and adapts her refined recipes to delight her customers. Many villagers quickly succumb to her irresistible treats. But the town’s upper class, as well as the Count of Reynaud, are outraged to see the residents captivated by Vianne’s chocolates. The Count strongly opposes Vianne’s shop and forbids anyone from visiting it. The arrival of another stranger....
