This grand château dominates the landscape in the same way as its wines have brought fame and popularity to the Savennières appellation.
Built in 1850, the château has stunning views over the undulating landscape and the majestic Loire.
Its 26 acres of vineyard are planted with the Chenin grape; all but 5 of these acres are set aside for the production of Savennières.
A guided tour of the winery can be organised with an explanation of the hard work and skill that goes into making its renowned AOC Anjou Red and the popular AOC Savennières. After the tour… a tasting (dégustation) proves the point!
Open: Monday – Saturday from 10am – Midday and 2pm – 6.30pm.
Special appointments can be made for Sundays and Public Holidays (you must reserve in advance).
