A deep, well-exposed beach, compact sand, a backdrop of dunes and forests, and a stretch of water that benefits from westerly winds and the Loire estuary to the east: the sailing conditions are ideal for gaining experience and enjoying the pleasures of sailing and gliding in complete safety. The course gives you the chance to get to grips with the float with evolving courses and rides. What to bring – Sports shoes – Windbreaker – Goggles to avoid sand splashes – Pair of gloves (garden or kitchen) – Sun cream and a change of clothes! For groups of more than 12 or 24 people, there’s the option of a float for 2: these are 2-hour sessions, in pairs, in relays of around 20 minutes, on a single-seater float. The water sports centre is affiliated to the French Sailing Tank Federation. Registered with the school inspectorate and approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, it has the French Sailing School label. Quality teaching is provided, with guaranteed supervision, technique and safety. Supervision is provided by state-qualified sports instructors (BEES: compulsory qualifications for instructing, training and teaching sailing to all types of public) and seasonal federal instructors (MF: supervision under the responsibility of a BEES). The exposure of the different roll sites means that all wind directions can be used. In summer, several roll zones are reserved for the sailing centre. Changing rooms with showers and toilets.
