CERCLE DE LA VILLE DE SAUMUR

The Fédération des Jeux de Boules de Fort du Saumurois was founded on 13 April 1933 and now has 92 member clubs. It officially re-opened its doors at 12 rue des Carabiniers-de-Monsieur on 28 June 2013. Its founding members are committed to promoting this sport, a veritable institution in Anjou. Every Wednesday morning, they welcome young people for introductory courses. Tourists, whether in groups or individually, are also invited to put on their charentaises so that they can fully understand the rules and get as close as possible to the “master” of the boule.
