Its construction began at the beginning of the 20th century, when two young ladies from the Jaunais farm, Marie and Justine Guisseau, wanted to erect a cross on their land. Abbé Jean-Baptiste Le Gentilhomme suggested that they build a tomb topped by a cross bearing Christ. The first calvary was blessed at Easter 1911. Three other statues were added at the foot of the cross on 27 September 1911.Pets allowed
