The arboretum is a 300-metre botanical trail that allows visitors to discover the characteristic plants of wetlands, adapted to the context of the lake and a former marshland. It was created by the municipality's green spaces department in collaboration with the Lycée Agricole de Briacé, demonstrating its commitment to local educational and ecological initiatives. It focuses on local plant diversity, particularly species that thrive in wetlands, meadows, riverbanks and wooded edges. The trail is designed to be accessible to all, with explanatory panels guiding visitors through the different species and types of vegetation.
