A colourful figure on the French blues scene for over four decades, Philippe Menard is a master of the genre, whether boogie or rock, or with forays into folk or funk. Followed by Banger's: groove made in Angers. With five musicians and a singer, Les Banger's revisit funk, soul and blues favourites from The Meters to Sharon Jones. With their rock-solid rhythm section and vibrant brass section, every performance is a musical feast!
