Tous mes rêves partent de gare d’Austerlitz is a play by Mohamed Kacimi.
In a prison, women often sacrifice their daily walk for a few hours in the library. Around the librarian, they meet to talk about their daily lives, their work, their loves, their dreams and their childhoods, with passion or quarrelling.
It’s Christmas Eve and they have the night off. They are preparing for the party. They are sharing an imaginary feast when, before midnight, Frida, a “primo arrivante”, arrives…
“This play is a tribute to these reclusive women, locked away in the most extreme solitude, often, too often, victims of men’s violence, who, deprived of everything, still manage to reinvent a world where they play at not lacking either freedom or humanity.
of freedom and humanity. Mohamed Kacimi.
