TESS SPIRULINE

Jérémy Tessier welcomes you to his aquaculture farm "Tess Spiruline" to introduce you to the first farm-grown spirulina from the Mauges region, a microalgae known as blue algae that is exceptionally rich in nutrients and provides numerous benefits when consumed.

Spirulina sales and visits to the farm are available by appointment only, by calling 06 08 52 36 67.

Spirulina is grown in greenhouses in water tanks containing water, salt, bicarbonate and nutrients suitable for spirulina production. Growth varies according to light and heat. It is harvested early in the morning, when it is most concentrated. After filtering, pressing and shaping into spaghetti, the spirulina is dried at low temperature. This method preserves all the nutritional qualities of spirulina.
