Surfing consists of balancing on a board, carried by a breaking wave and performing manoeuvres. Surfing is a demanding discipline, requiring a long apprenticeship. Surfing is by far the most popular sport. The boards used range in length from 180cm to 240cm on average, depending on the size of the waves to be dealt with. Initiation: 1st approach based on safety, familiarisation with the elements and the equipment, and the discovery of the first sensations of surfing. For those who have already surfed, this is an opportunity to go back over the points they want to work on and improve their technique. Individuals: An instructor is entirely dedicated to giving you the essential keys to surfing. He or she will accompany you in the water and give you personalised advice throughout the session, making sure you improve your technique, your ease in the water and your knowledge of surfing. It is possible to surf specific waves (reef, point break, shorebreak). The surf school is open from April to October.
