Edible wild plants course in Maine-et-Loire 49, on the magnificent Grand Beauvais loop, 5 km.
Michel Kotenkoff, a specialist and enthusiast in this field, will guide you along this picturesque path. Naturopath Pascale Dénéchaud will also accompany us.
We'll come across a wide variety of plants. For example, hogweed, burdock, alliaria, lamiers, nettle, comfrey, meadowsweet, hawthorn, etc...
You can learn to recognise several plants at the vegetative stage (before flowers and fruit appear).
At around 3pm, we'll make a giant herbarium on the ground, grouping the plants by species and naming them. This is an important step towards better memory.
Pascale will then help us to prepare and cook the harvest in a simple way.
After the course, you may find that you change the way you look at the plant world when you go for a walk...
