PRIEURÉ DE SAINT-RÉMY-LA-VARENNE

The priory of Saint Rémy la Varenne was founded in the 10th century. Occupied by monks until the 15th century, it was then transformed into a small Renaissance manor house. It boasts a monumental, sculpted and polychrome fireplace, and magnificent medallions adorn its façade. The Prieuré association welcomes you to its Rendez-vous du Prieuré events (evening concerts, storytelling, theatre, night market, discovery outings, etc.) and to its major Hortomnales festival at the end of October, with a presentation of the 120 varieties grown by the volunteers.
