Listed as a Historic Monument, this medieval bridge was built in 1465. It is made up of eight schist and mortar arches. Spanning the Evre river, it served for many years as a link between Anjou and the Nantes region. Rich in history, it’s also a great place to relax. With a few picnic tables at your disposal, you can spend some pleasant family time with the sound of water and birdsong as your only background sounds… For the more talented, it’s also a popular spot for photography! The discovery of a bronze axe under one of the eight arches of this 15th-century building bears witness to a human presence in this part of Bohardy around a thousand years BC. If we refer to the bishop’s archives, we can see that, in order to attach Bohardy to the commune of Montrevault, the town councillors of Montrevault had given their colleagues from Saint-Rémy plenty to drink!
