This panoramic site and its little chapel overlooking the Loire are a reminder that a priory was founded here in the Middle Ages by St Méen. The hamlet, built of local stone, is charming. In front of the brightly-coloured houses are the traditional wells and the vineyards running down the slope towards the Loire. In the distance, the Tour d’Oudon faces the Champtoceaux Citadel.
