LES VERGERS DE LA PETITE MOINIE

Welcome to Vergers de la Petitie Moinie in Saint-Rémy-en-Mauges!

Sylvie and Jean-Christophe Clavreul took over the farm in 2018 with two golden rules:
- preserve the terroir
- passing on the cultural know-how of the farm's previous owners

The orchard uses "integrated pest management" (treatment only when necessary and not on the fruit). It covers 5 hectares and has around 25 varieties, including a dozen old varieties such as Patte de Loup and Boskoop.

The farm is open every week, on Wednesdays and Fridays in winter, so the public can buy local produce such as apples (different varieties), apple juice (pure pressed apple juice made from the orchard's own production and pasteurised) and apple purée.
You can also find them at the Cholet and Angers markets on Saturdays, Rezé on Fridays and Ancenis on Thursday mornings.

Every year, the Vergers de la Petite Moinie open their doors to the general public as part of the "C'est quoi ton entreprise? operation organised by Ôsez Mauges in October.
