Saturday 13 September :
Open-air painting and drawing competition, open to all artists (children, young people, adults). Amateur or professional painters will be asked to produce a work of art inspired by the local landscape, flora and fauna, or by the town’s heritage, within a given timeframe.
Registration will take place from 8am to 11am at the port of Oudon. After a welcome coffee, participants will be invited to take possession of the site they wish to sketch. Participants in the competition must hand in their work between 3.30pm and 4pm at the latest, at the reception desk.
Various prizes will be awarded: two “ville d’Oudon” prizes (professional and amateur), two Public Prizes (professional and amateur), a “young talent” prize for 11-16 year-olds and an “artist’s seed” prize for under-11s.
The jury, made up of members of the association, members of the town council, art lovers and art teachers, will meet between 4pm and 5pm. The public vote will take place between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
A live band will keep the audience entertained until the prize-giving ceremony at 6.15pm.
Entry fee: €15 – Free for under-16s.

Exhibition and sale of paintings, sculptures and photographs of the Le Havre valley and the port
Market of local craftsmen and designers in the courtyard of the Château
Amateur and professional artists will be in the spotlight on this second day, with an exhibition and sale open to all. Artists who take part in the previous day’s competition will be exempt from registration.
