Le Repos Sauvage is an inhabited place, on an island bordered by the Loire. It’s also a summer festival where poetry, music, words and weaving are in a wild and mischievous mood. This year, it’s listening to the abundant murmur of the place and its living creatures!
At Le Repos Sauvage, a book café and a poetic forest await you!
> In the Café-livre, books live freely in the open air. Sip a drink, lie down in the reading nests, read a book, listen to poems whispered in your ears…
> Wander through the Poetic Forest and have fun! Enter the belly of a whale’s library, meet a Loire mermaid and have fun meeting the feathered, legged, leafy and finned inhabitants of the Repos Sauvage.
> The Café-livre and the Poetic Forest at the Repos Sauvage are open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 July – Refreshments and snacks available on site.
