LE CANAL DU BODON

  • LE CANAL DU BODON©
The Bodon canal was dug between 2006 and 2008 to protect the homes to the east of the Route Bleue from flooding. In this area of over 9 hectares, footpaths have been laid out, giving pedestrians access to Les Pins town centre. Over time, plant species (aquatic plants, willows, poplars, alders, etc.) and animal species (migratory birds, egrets, ducks, etc.) have become established. Brevin schoolchildren planted more than 700 trees during the various editions of Environment Week. To enhance this natural area, the town council has decided to create a biodiversity refuge.
