La Grande Remontée à Ancenis-Saint-Géréon

Taking advantage of the sailors’ stopover, the MAT is putting on an artistic programme for the occasion between the Théâtre de Verdure and the Chapelle des Ursulines. From 4pm: Arrival of the crews. Installation. Free participation in the downstream donation. From 6pm: Stroll to Chapelle Ursulines for Nous les vagues – Performance: Collective opening of the Nous les vagues suitcase. Return to the Théâtre de verdure 7pm: Presentation of the Don de l’Aval & Comment va Loire, an artistic and scientific event during the Grande Remontée, open to all: River-based artistic practices Taking advantage of the presence of artists in residence on board the boats and the work of Camille Orlandini and Corentin Massaux on this stopover, the focus here will be on artistic creation with the river. What materials are used, and how do contemporary artists use the river’s ecosystem to renew their approaches to art and sound? It’s a question of creation, but also of dialogue with the history of art, the reception of works and audiences. In the evening: La nappe, a banquet and collaborative artistic research project initiated by Camille Orlandini and Corentin Massaux with the alliance of Sofa, the Itep Célestin Freinet and the Pays d’Ancenis Social and Solidarity Economy network.
