Winegrower for more than 40 vintages, Thierry Dézé takes you on "Vignes Vins Troglos" wine tours of the Saumur-Champigny vineyards.
Discover the rich heritage of the Loire on foot or by bike.
- On foot, depart from Souzay-Champigny: take a tour of the village and its troglodytic cellars, and discover the Saumur-Champigny vineyards. Stop off for a wine-tasting session in the heart of the vineyards.
- Cycle from Château de Saumur to the village of Turquant. Nature trail through the Saumur Champigny vineyards. Tasting break at a winegrower's, then return via the banks of the Loire and the Souzay troglos.
NB: equipment not supplied, electric-assist VTC recommended, helmet and fluorescent waistcoat recommended.
