Gourmandises en Loire

Every Thursday from June 20 to September 12, the winegrowers of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil offer a discovery tour of their wines and local produce on the Loire. Participants will board a Toue Cabanée, the “Martinienne II”. Wines served will be from Domaine Godefroy. This traditional boat was used to travel on the Loire until the 19th century. The aim of this cultural activity is to introduce passengers to : The Loire in all its facets, Wines from the Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation, Local produce in a zero-kilometer approach. Mariners add their knowledge and local anecdotes about this royal river, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
