Originally from La Rochelle, the artist moved to Ancenis a few years ago with her suitcases, camera and lens. So it’s as a neighbour that she’ll be coming to present her latest works.

Imbued with sensitivity and sincerity, her work is constantly evolving. With this exhibition, his boundless creativity and enthusiasm take him on new ‘pictorial’ journeys, opening up other fields of possibility.
“Photography is a tool for spontaneously taking in the world and playing with light and movement,” is how Evelyne Gaillou describes her work. Her world is one of finesse and delicacy. Refinement explodes in each of her photographs or watercolours? The eye sometimes struggles to tell the difference.
In the course of her projects and exhibitions, “I explore the universe like a human score”. His camera “plays notes… The notes of a world in motion, gently, quietly, surreptitiously. I play with it: waltz, tango, ballet, improvised choreography, lightness, carefreeness, freedom, a kind of photographic hand-to-hand combat”.
