Alain Martin grew up in Ingrandes/Loire, where his parents Georges and France ran the PMU bar “Chez Francette” on rue de l’église, a local institution in the 70s and 80s.
For some forty years, under the name Amaury, he has been sharpening his brushes and making his colours sing in the dreamlike landscapes he brings back from his travels.
A self-taught painter, he has chosen hyperrealism to express his talent in luminous ways. For this exhibition in Ingrandes-Fresnoise, he has specifically concocted some canvases sparkling with the reflections of the Loire, the Boire de la Rôme and the Ingrandes bridge.
